Junior Finanial Management Consultant - TS SCI w/ polygraph required
Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Work You'll Do
As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, you will:
- Analyze financial transactions and supporting documentation to determine appropriate proprietary and budgetary accounting treatment and GL impact.
- Prepare, validate, and post journal entries and related reconciliations to support quarter-end and year-end close cycles.
- Support the development and delivery of governmental financial reporting in alignment with OMB A-136 and internal reporting requirements.
- Execute controls and documentation activities consistent with OMB A-123 and established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow SOPs and accounting policies to ensure entries are complete, accurate, timely, and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting variances, clarify data issues, and strengthen close and reporting processes.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- 1+ years of experience in governmental accounting to include OMB A-136, OMB A-123, proprietary and budgetary accounting, and financial reporting
- Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in McLean, VA
